Louis De Poortere Rug - Antiquarian Collection - Ushak

Handcrafted in Belgium; this stunning collection of flat weave rugs brings an abstract and unique touch to interior design. With gradient color transitions and intricate details, these rugs create a stunning visual impact that is sure to be the centerpiece of any room.

Ushak is derived from the rug designs made by the Turkish tribe of the same name. They were used a lot in mosques and in churches. We have used faded colours for this design, as in the later, twentieth century versions.
